Our Philosophy
Healing happens when the whole person is seen: mind, body, and nervous system working together. At Therapy Haus, we approach trauma therapy as both science and relationship, blending evidence-based methods like ART and EMDR with compassion, pacing, and deep respect for your lived experience.
How We Practice
We’ve seen what happens when therapy becomes another checkbox in a broken system: rushed appointments, overbooked clinicians, and treatment dictated by insurance forms.
So, we built something better. The Therapy Haus is a place where you’re seen, not sized up. Where your therapist has the time, space, and tools to actually help you heal.
Relational
Healing happens in relationship. We prioritize genuine connection, safety, and collaboration in every session.
Holistic
True healing engages the whole person: mind, body, and nervous system. We draw from somatic, emotional, and cognitive approaches to support balance and long-term wellbeing.
Flexible
Your healing journey is unique. We adapt each session to your pace, needs, and goals.
Therapy That Meets You Exactly Where You Are
Whether you’re beginning trauma work for the first time or returning with new insight, you’ll find therapy here to be steady, transparent, and paced to your needs.
At Therapy Haus, sessions are not limited to a strict timeframe; we allow the work to unfold at a pace that supports safety, regulation, and meaningful progress.
We collaborate on a plan together, check in regularly, and adapt the work as your nervous system becomes more regulated and resilient. Healing isn’t linear, so we stay flexible, grounded, and responsive along the way.
Why We Created Therapy Haus
Therapy Haus was built from the belief that trauma healing should feel safe, individualized, and grounded in compassion. After years of working in clinical settings, our team wanted to create a space that allowed for deeper relationships, clearer communication, and truly personalized care: the kind of therapy that helps people rebuild trust in themselves.
Meet the Team

Kris
MSW, LCSW-S, RPT-S, CATP (Owner)
Family Counseling & Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Kris offers ART: an intensive, short-term therapy that can resolve distressing issues in as few as 3 sessions. Her approach is focused, compassionate, and deeply effective for clients ready to move through trauma, anxiety, or emotional stuckness without spending months in therapy.
I work with a wide range of clients and concerns. Anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship struggles, and behavior difficulties in teens and children are among a few of the common issues I treat. I see each client and their experiences as unique to them with their own needs and strengths. I am very open minded and non-judgmental and really do care about each one of my clients. I consider the relationship I have with my clients to be central their success.
Kris is supported by her therapy dogs, Toby and Sansa, who provide canine-assisted emotional support during sessions, helping clients feel more relaxed, grounded, and emotionally safe throughout the therapeutic process.

Together, we walk through your experiences, history, and challenges to create a personalized approach that feels achievable, supportive, and authentic. I strive to create a space that is safe, welcoming, non-judgmental, and grounded in realistic wellness.

Sandi
MA, LPC, NCC
Marriage, Couples & Family Counseling
Sandi is passionate about helping others navigate conflict, and approaches therapy through an attachment-based, solution-focused lens. Her work helps clients understand how early relational experiences influence present-day patterns while also focusing on practical steps toward healing and connection.
I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful foundation for repairing relationships that feel broken or painful. I have a special heart for supporting parents who want to show up as the best version of themselves for their children. No matter how heavy things may feel, I believe change is possible, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.
